Vehicle damaged: Canonsburg police said a vehicle owned by Corey Valencia of Valley View Terrace was kicked and had beer poured over it Monday. A broken bottle was found next to the vehicle.
Tire stolen: Kourini Younger of Valley View Terrace told Canonsburg police Monday a thief stole a tire and wheel off her vehicle, leaving it on a jack.
Identity stolen: Dawna Mattarock of Barnickle Street told Chartiers police Monday her identity was stolen and used to purchase three iPhones at a Radio Shack in New Canaan, Conn.
Window shot: Jaqlyn Orbich of 275 Plum Run Road told Chartiers police Friday vandals used a BB gun to shoot a window in her vehicle.
Theft report: Edward K. Povrzenich, 26, of 230 Valley School Road, Smithfield, is charged by city police with theft and receiving stolen property over accusations he used a Facebook group to sell a stolen cellphone to Jesse Bowen about 11:50 p.m. May 19 at a social club at 57 Schoonmaker Ave, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso sent Povrzenich the charges in a summons Monday.
Charged in alleged robbery: Nyeacha Wilson, 26, who has addresses in Monessen and Wickhaven, is charged by city police with robbery, simple assault, theft, conspiracy and possession of heroin paraphernalia, court records show. Wilson is accused of tossing a blanket over Clyde Newill before assaulting him with two unidentified people about 4:30 p.m. Sunday at 627 Marguerite Ave. Newill told police he threw heroin paraphernalia out of the residence before the attack and that he escaped through a window as his wallet was stolen. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued a warrant for Wilson’s arrest Monday.
Warrant arrest: Brian Alexander Kantor, 25, of 404 Forbes St., Bridgeville, was taken into custody on an Allegheny County bench warrant following a minor, two-vehicle crash on Racetrack Road at Johnson Road Monday afternoon, North Strabane police. Kantor allegedly asked that police not be called because he had a warrant. After getting a detainer from Allegheny County, Kantor was placed in Washington County jail.
ATV stolen: A red, racing Honda TRX 4500 and a 2014 black carry-on trailer were reported stolen Sunday, South Strabane police said. They are owned by David A. Carroll Jr. of 602 1/2 Locust Ave. The license on the trailer is XHN-9570.
PFA violation alleged: Edsol Borger, 30, of 886 Addison St., Washington, will be charged by Washington police with violating a protection-from-abuse order obtained by Cara Andrews, 25, also of 886 Addison. He allegedly broke the glass in the front door of the house early Tuesday. He had been ordered to stay away from the residence, police said. Borger was gone when officers arrived.
Checks stolen: Gregory Adams of 275 North Ave. told Washington police Monday three checks were stolen from his home and cashed for more than $800. His debit card was used to make $600 in charges.
Mower stolen: Ronald Knochel of 540 S. Main St. told Washington police his mower was stolen from his property. Charges are pending.
Woman charged: Rose L. Carter, 46, of Jollick Manor, was charged with one count each of possession of drug paraphernalia, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct stemming from an April 16 incident at the intersection of Hall and Jefferson avenues. According to the complaint, Washington police were called to the area about 7:30 a.m. and observed Carter throw a crack pipe to the ground while stumbling and falling. Officers said they smelled a strong odor of alcohol, and Carter’s speech was slurred. Charges will be sent from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
