East Bethlehem woman accused of stealing medication from nursing facility

North Strabane Township police charged a woman last week who is accused of stealing medication while working at a nursing facility. Ashley Lynn McCune, 39, of East Bethlehem Township, faces felony charges of endangering the welfare of a care-dependent person and insurance fraud, as well as misdemeanors of forgery, theft and possession of a controlled substance. According to the criminal complaint, South Hills Rehabilitation and Wellness, located at 201 Village Drive, reported suspicions that McCune had stolen Oxycodone to police on Feb. 15. Trinity Area School District has received a grant of more than $660,000 to support a safe, healthy environment for students. The district received a total of $660,101 as part of more than $39 million in grant funding for 36 school districts in 21 counties across the commonwealth. Carmichaels man accused of sexual assault

The office of the Pennsylvania attorney general charged a Carmichaels man Friday after he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman. Hunter Keith Shriver, 20, faces felony charges of rape of an unconscious victim, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and aggravated indecent assault. According to the criminal complaint, the woman reported to police in October 2022 that Shriver had raped her at a Franklin Township home.
