The Martha Washington Quilters Guild will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Church of the Covenant, third floor, 267 E. Beau St., Washington. There will be a demonstration on lap quilting.
Noe’s Night of Light will be held Sept. 30 at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg. The event will include gourmet food stations featuring several of the area’s best chefs, drinks, silent auction and a raffle. There also will be live entertainment with Pittsburgh jazz artist Kenny Blake and Josh Starrett, and a short program featuring a family from the Adoption Program at the Children’s Home. All proceeds benefit the Children’s Home to help medically fragile children and their families. Marianna American Legion Auxiliary Unit 744 is holding a membership contest. Members who pay their 2018 dues by Oct. 31 will be entered to win a free 2019 membership. Dues will be increasing in 2019. The winner will be announced at the Nov. 2 meeting.
Washington Camera Club will meet at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 in Room 104, Courthouse Square. The program will be a digital image gallery. Members are asked to bring four digital images on a flash drive for a critique.
Salvation Army of Greene County will hold a flea market from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 2-4 at its center at 131 W. First St., Waynesburg. Proceeds will be used to provide emergency assistance for Greene County residents.
