The drops, totaling $586, were discovered missing Nov. 12. Five employees were responsible for the drops, police said, adding that the incident is being investigated.
Escape charge: Robert D. Orgovan, 35, of 211 Lincoln Ave., Bentleyville, was arraigned Friday on an escape charge for not returning to Washington County Jail Oct. 4 after court-ordered work release.
Orgovan was returned to the jail on a $1,000 straight bond.

A Weatherby .308-caliber rifle with scope and a Savage .22-caliber rifle with scope were stolen from the home of David M. Adams. Police said a basement door window was broken to gain entrance to the house.
No injuries: No injuries were reported in a crash involving a Waynesburg police car at 9:20 p.m. Friday at Wayne and Morris streets, Waynesburg police said.
Police said Joshua W. Kozak, 19, of Canonsburg failed to remain stopped at a stop sign at Wayne Street. He pulled out and his vehicle struck the driver's side door of a police car traveling on Morris Street driven by Patrolman Tom Ankrom.
Kozak was cited for a stop sign violation, police said.
