William Earl Thompson III, 23, of 346 Elm Brook Lane, Pittsburgh, was apprehended at the home of Kimberly Lucas on East McMurray Road, township police said.
Thompson was arraigned before District Judge James Ellis on charges of receiving stolen property, theft from a motor vehicle and two other counts of theft. He was placed in Washington County Jail on $10,000 bond.
Thompson, along with his brother, Matthew Richard Thompson, 18, of 5044 Irishtown Road, Bethel Park, are charged with entering the home of Norman Elliott, 518 Laurel Drive, McMurray, after 1:13 p.m. March 2, and stealing a Lincoln Continental, television, computer, a money bag containing cash and credit cards.
Matthew Richard Thompson was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and released on $5,000 unsecured bond following his arrest Tuesday.
Township police said they received a tip Lucas was at a house on Southview Court and was wanted on a warrant through the adult probation office. Police said she is an "associate" of William Thompson. Police eventually went to Lucas' home and found her and William Thompson.
Lucas was picked up on the detainer and placed in Washington County Jail, police said.
