Marjorie L. Chuba, 74, of Houston, died Friday, May 9, 2008, in Washington Hospital.
She was born July 19, 1933, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Richard and Laura Mawhinney Gray.
Mrs. Chuba was a 1951 graduate of Canonsburg High School.
She worked as an operator for Bell Telephone.
Mrs. Chuba enjoyed being with her family and taking care of her grandchildren.
On July 17, 1957, she married William Chuba, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Richard Chuba (Carolyn) of McDonald and Chris Chuba of Canonsburg; a daughter, Laurie Agostinelli of Houston; five grandchildren, Briane, Chelsea and Philip Josh Agostinelli and Ryan and Christopher Chuba; a brother, Norman J. Gray (Barbara) of Canonsburg; and two sisters, Katherine Drivas (Nicholas) of Burbank, Calif., and Georgia Mace of Houston.
Deceased are a brother, Edward L. Gray, and a sister, Pauline Miller.

Rices Landing man loved spending time with his dogs
Ronald M. Day, 57, of Rices Landing, Dry Tavern, formerly of Carmichaels, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 7, 2008, in Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg.
He was born May 14, 1950, in Waynesburg, a son of Luther Martin and Margaret Holoupka Day of Carmichaels.
Mr. Day was a 1968 graduate of Cumberland High School and later received an associate's degree for electrician.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Allegheny Energy Hatfield Power Station.
Mr. Day was an avid supporter of various animal and wildlife associations and loved spending time with his four dogs.
He was an avid gun enthusiast.
Surviving are three daughters, Tracey Ottena and husband Michael of Clarksville and Jacqueline Day and Candace Day, both of California,; a grandson, Drew Ottena; a brother, Roger Day and wife Sharon of Richmond, Va.; and a sister, Cheryl Gallentine and husband William of Carmichaels.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Marjorie Jane Flick, 82, of Somerset, died Friday, May 9, 2008, in Laurel View Village, Davidsville.
She was born April 22, 1926, in Washington County, a daughter of James Albert Richey and Mildred Irene Blayney.
Mrs. Flick was a graduate of Washington High School and West Penn Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse until her retirement.
Mrs. Flick was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.
Surviving are stepchildren Mrs. Roy E. (Marjorie) Brant of Sagertown, David L. Flick, married to the former Susan Kerch of Somerset, Richard M. Flick, married to the former Elaine Zashda of Erie, and Mrs. James (Duchess) Swift of California, Md.; a stepson-in-law, Stewart (Rick) Saylor of Friedens; nine stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are husbands James Pattison, Fay G. Adams and Richard G. Flick; a daughter, Roget Adams; a stepdaughter, Jean Ann Saylor; a brother, James Richey; and a sister, Jean Standiford.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, with the Rev. Elisa A. Letha M. John Kughn, 84, of Waynesburg, died at 1:50 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2008, in Braun's Personal Care Home, Waynesburg, following a brief illness.
She was born Saturday, May 19, 1923, in Brock, a daughter of William P. and Blanche Taylor John.
She was a resident of Greene County all of her life.
She was a member of Valley Chapel United Methodist Church in Brock.
While her health permitted, she enjoyed taking care of several elderly people and was a homemaker.
Surviving are a daughter, Kay Fox of Spraggs; a grandson and spouse, Harold and Char Fox of Spraggs; two great-granddaughters, Jana and Jada Fox of Spraggs; two brothers, Alton John of Weirton, W.Va., and Roy John of Carmichaels; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are four sisters, June V. Harris, Irene Knight, Helen John and Laura Maxine John, and a brother, Charles John.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of services with the Rev. was WWII Army veteran
Ernest C. Lint, 83, of Carmichaels, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, in Golden Living Center, Waynesburg, following a brief illness.
He was born July 31, 1924, in Superior, Fayette County, a son of Wilbur and May Reddick Lint.
Mr. Lint was a 1942 graduate of Cumberland Township High School.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served as a mechanic in the Medical Corps during World War II.
He owned and operated Ernie Lint's Auto Service in Carmichaels from 1963 until he retired in 1989.
Mr. Lint was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3491 and Cumberland American Legion Post 400, both of Carmichaels, and a member of Queen City - Christopher G. Fox Lodge 358 F&AM in Amherst, N.Y.
He enjoyed working outdoors and hunting.
On October 14, 1946, he married Burdetta Holdren, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Carol Midcap and husband the Rev. Edward Midcap of Alderson, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Anita Bell, Jennifer Perry, William Thoma and Frank Skrzycki; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Sellon of Snyder, N.Y.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a daughter, Patricia Skrzycki; three brothers, Harlan Lint, Arthur Lint, who was killed in action during World War II, and Kenneth Lint, who died in infancy; and three sisters, Irene, Francis and Laverne.

McDonald resident, Korea, Vietnam Army veteran
Lawrence (Larry) Robson, 73, of McDonald, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, in Canonsburg General Hospital.
He was born January 17, 1935, in McDonald, a son of James and Annie Elma Sample Robson.
Mr. Robson was a helicopter maintenance chief in the U.S. Army. He served during both Korean and Vietnam wars, retiring in 1973 after more than 20 years of service.
He was a member of McDonald Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 567 and Canonsburg Sportsmen Club and a proud member of National Riffle Association.
He enjoyed shooting, camping and fishing. He was interested in history and liked listening to opera and classical music.
On December 10, 1956, he married Rita M. Heinen, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Theresa Ann (Stephen) Robson Rauch of McDonald; a son, Michael Anthony (Tracy) Robson of New Galilee; and an adopted daughter, Lorie Klie of Chippewa.
Deceased are four sisters, Mary Knapp, Virginia Hull, Annie Elma McCarthy and Margaret Gentile; eight brothers, James Jr., John, Robert, Jesse, Thomas, Joseph, Edward and Fred Robson; and his in-laws, Edward and Margaret Heinen.

WWII Army veteran,
retired boilermaker
Frank A. Smith, 86, a lifelong resident of Bentleyville, died Friday, May 9, 2008, in Mon Valley Hospital, following a brief illness.
He was born October 21, 1921, in Bentleyville, a son of Frank and Hattie Smith.
Mr. Smith was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army 124th Infantry as a staff sergeant, machine gunner and squad leader in the South Pacific Theater, including Australia, Guam and New Guinea.
He was a Pearl Harbor survivor, and for his honorable service he was awarded an American Defense Service Medal with one bronze star and an Asiatic Pacific Service Medal.
He worked for Civilian Conservation Corps following his service to his country and worked as a boilermaker for more than 30 years, retiring in 1982.
He enjoyed bowling, playing area slots and watching Westerns.
Mr. Smith was a member of Boilermakers Local 154, Bentleyville American Legion Post 165 and Bentleyville Fraternal Order of Eagles 1809.
Surviving are three sons, Frank F. Smith and wife Diana E. of Meadville, Danny E. Smith and wife Cindy L. of Phoenix, Ariz., and Larry E. Smith and wife Stephana of Bentleyville; three grandchildren, Jennifer Smith, Adam Smith and Richard Keith Dunlap; and three great-grandchildren, Samantha Leigh McClain-Dunlap, Emma Quinn McClain-Dunlap and Fiona Paige McClain-Dunlap.
His wife, Florence E. Blackwood Smith, died September 6, 1996.
Deceased, in addition to his parents and wife, are a brother; John E. Smith; three sisters, Martha Luketich, Mildred Biscoe and Rose Bailey; and an infant son.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 12, with the Rev.
