Class valedictorians are Andrew Allan Allison, Maura Noellyn Andrews, Matthew Anderson Cunningham, Charles Michael Gasti and Joseph David Lapkowicz. Salutatorians are Shayleigh Ann Busti and Megan Christine Wojtowicz. Busti, who also is class president, will address the class and call roll.
The keynote speaker for the evening will be Dr. James Michael Yeash, a 1974 Carmichaels Area alumnus, who has been a doctor of osteopathy with New West Physicians in Broomfield, Colo., since 1992.
He also is a retired lieutenant colonel from the U.S. Army Medical Corps, after 22 years of active and reserve duty.
Allison, a son of Todd and Lisa Allison of Carmichaels, plans to attend Shenandoah University and major in pharmacy.
Andrews, a daughter of Greg and Cheryl Andrews of Carmichaels, plans to attend the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and major in pharmacy.
Cunningham, a son of Lynn and Janet Cunningham of Carmichaels, plans to attend West Virginia University and major in electrical engineering.
Gasti, a son of Charles and Roxanne Gasti of Carmichaels, plans to attend Cleveland State University and major in biology (pre-med).
Lapkowicz, a son of Joseph and Eileen Lapkowicz of Carmichaels, plans to attend Slippery Rock University with a dual major in physics and engineering.
Busti, a daughter of Pete and Joyce Busti of Crucible, plans to attend Indiana University of Pennsylvania and major in physical education and sport.
Wojtowicz, a daughter of David and Donna Wojtowicz of Rices Landing, plans to attend Waynesburg University and major in secondary education/chemistry.
To aid three seniors in their post-secondary school finances, two scholarships will be granted to qualified individuals. The Paul and Dolores Jazwa Lavins Scholarship will be awarded to two graduating seniors while the Holupka-Marinoff Gift Fund will go to a third student.
