Marcie Lynn Gaster and Peter Joseph Valentino were united in marriage October 25, 2008, at St. Oliver Plunkett Church in Fredericktown. The Rev. Paul J. Grunebach officiated the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Marion and G.B. Gaster Jr. of Brownsville. Her grandparents are Mary Gaster of Brownsville and the late G.B. Gaster Sr. and the late George and Frances Stagon.
The groom's parents are Donald and Patricia Laws of Clarksville. His grandparents are the late Peter J. and Jennie Decovich.
Matron of honor for her sister-in-law was Haley Huba-Gaster of Cresson. Bridesmaids were Dayna Giovanelli of Millsboro, Amber Booza of Brownsville, Corbie Kuntz of Marianna, sister of the groom; and Jamie Berger of Reno, Nev., cousin and goddaughter of the bride. Flower girl was Ayla Stopko.
Serving as best man was Trent Booza of Brownsville. Groomsmen were Brian Gaster of Cresson, brother of the bride; Charles Valentino of Blufton, S.C., brother of the groom; Timothy Luketich of Raleigh, N.C., and Cameron Throckmorton of Hanover, nephew of the groom.
A reception was held at Anthony's Lakeside Party Center.
The new Mrs. Valentino, a teacher at Bethlehem-Center Elementary School, is a graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School and California University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Valentino is a personal trainer at 84 Fitness Center. He is a graduate of Trinity High School and Waynesburg College.
The couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico. They reside in Millsboro.
