Heather LeeAnn Finnegan and Todd Douglas Day were united in marriage May 30, 2009, in First Presbyterian Church, Waynesburg. Lois Swestyn Nelson Boone officiated the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.
Robbie and Tammi Finnegan of Wind Ridge and Jeanette and Sam Martin of Holbrook are the bride's parents. Her grandparents are Gerald and Mary Finnegan and John and Lesetta Briggs, all of Aleppo.
Parents of the bridegroom are Jerry and Betsy Day of West Finley. His grandparents are William and Donna Bennett of Graysville and the late Paul and Madlyn Day.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor for her sister was Hilary Finnegan of Graysville. Bridesmaids were Samantha Martin of Holbrook, sister of the bride; Amber Riley of Claysville; and Katelyn Finnegan and Addison Finne-gan of Wind Ridge, sisters of the bride. Perry Jo Allison, cousin of the groom, was flower girl.
Derek Day of West Finley, the groom's brother, served as best man. Groomsmen were Ethan Day of West Finley, brother of the groom, and Chas Day of West Finley, cousin of the groom. Ring bearer was Noah Tennant, cousin of the groom.
A reception was held at North Franklin Township fire hall.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Waynesburg University, where she majored in communications.
Her husband is a 2008 graduate of Waynesburg University and is pursuing his doctorate in chemistry at Penn State University.
The newlyweds make their home in State College.
