Pennsylvania CareerLink Greene County and the Greene County commissioners will sponsor the 10th annual job fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the fairgrounds' 4-H Building.
This year, the job fair will feature the largest number of employers to date.
"We usually have 30 to 35 employers, so when we have 43, that's a pretty good number," said Barbara L. Cole, CareerLink Greene County administrator.
The event also will include some of Greene County's larger employers, such as the RJ Lee Group, Foundation Coal and Southwest Regional Medical Center, she said.
CareerLink has been sponsoring the job fair for the last 10 years. Last year, the job fair focused on mining careers and was held at the United Mine Workers Career Center in Ruff Creek.
This year, CareerLink will set up its computer lab at the 4-H Building, thanks to a donation of DSL services from Windstream, Cole said.
Job seekers will be able to access their resumes using the computer lab or submit job applications for jobs at companies that require an on-line application, she said.
The CareerLink Greene County office at 4 West High Street in Waynesburg will be closed today because of the fair.
"When you have 43 employers in one place in Greene County (as is the case at this year's job fair), that is where anyone looking for a job should be," Cole said.
