George D. Bolinsky, 72, of Washington, formerly of Houston, died unexpectedly at 2:58 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2009, in Washington Hospital.

He was born March 12, 1937, in Canonsburg, a son of George N. and Evelyn Harmason Bolinsky.

Mr. Bolinsky was employed as a supervisor for R&L Construction Co. in Pittsburgh, retiring in 2000.

He built and collected model airplanes. He enjoyed going to casinos, watching NASCAR racing and driving sports cars.

Mr. Bolinsky served in the U.S. Marine Corps for seven years and was a Korean War veteran.

On June 16, 1974, he married Wanda L. Sensky Bolinsky, who survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Debra (fiance Thomas Thompson) Gillespie of Washington, Tina (Barron James) Yeager of Washington and Tammy (fiance Bill Daniels) Deyell of Washington; a grandchild, Jonathan Gillespie; and two great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Asia Gillespie.

A great-grandchild, Jonathan Gillespie Jr., is deceased.

There will be no public visitation. Services and burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson and East Katherine avenues, Washington, S.
