Margaret Burnham

Margaret (Peg) Burnham, 94, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Carmichaels, died at 6:50 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009, in The Forum, Tucson.

She was born June 29, 1915, in Cumberland Township, a daughter of Frank Moore and Frances Baily Areford Ross.

On November 21, 1942, she married Earl N. Burnham, who died February 20, 2007.

For many years, she and her husband operated The Dairy Bar in Carmichaels, where they enjoyed the townspeople. After selling their business, the couple moved to Tucson to retire.

Surviving are two sons, Ben Burnham of Tucson and Jeffrey Burnham and wife Deann Neugehauer Burnham of Vail, Ariz.; a daughter, Patricia Ann Berkey and husband Scott of Hopkinton, Mass.; twin grandchildren, Elizabeth and Allison Berkey; a niece, Barbara Aspey; and a nephew, Kenneth Titus II.

Deceased are a brother, Leroy Ross; and a sister, Edna Titus.

There will be no public viewing and a memorial service will be held at a future time. Arrangements are entrusted to Yoskovich Funeral Home (724-966-5500), Martin J.
