Police identify shooting victim

Police have identified William Allen Richards as the man shot Saturday night in a New Eagle mobile home park.
Richards, 21, of 6 Cracker Jack Road, Monongahela, suffered a hand wound at 9:10 p.m. in Crestview Estates, police said.
Charged were a father and his son, Mark Richard Devers, 51, of 8 Grant Ave., Donora, and Richard Allan Devers, 21, of the same address.
The elder Devers was charged with attempted homicide and related charges. His son was charged with criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, trespassing and harassment. Bond was set at $25,000 for each.

Two days earlier, Monongahela police charged Richards with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for allegedly striking Richard Devers and Jenna Harkin in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant on West Main Street. At that time, Richards was released on his own recognizance.
