W&J women lead at PAC meet

The Grove City College men and Washington & Jefferson women each remained in first place after the second day of competition at the three-day PAC Swimming & Diving Championships at Grove City.

The Grove City men hold a 19-point advantage over Westminster, while the W&J women hold a 65-point advantage over the host Wolverines.

Washington & Jefferson had three winners Friday, including Kaitlyn Orstein in the 100 breaststroke. Orstein won in 1:03.24 for her 23rd career PAC championship. Orstein also was a member of the Presidents' winning 200 medley relay team.

Brandon Smith, in the 400 individual medley, had the lone victory for the W&J men.

The Presidents are third in the men's team standings.
