The South Fayette boys basketball team has a long trip for its first-round game in the PIAA playoffs. The Washington girls team, however, doesn't have to leave Washington County.

The Lions (20-6) will travel Saturday to Clarion University and play Cranberry (17-10), the District 9 champion. Tip-off is 5:30 p.m.

Washington (24-2) won't spend nearly as much time on the bus. The Prexies will travel Friday to Charleroi for their game against Bishop McCort (26-2), the District 6 runner-up. Tip-off is 6 p.m.
