West Finley man to stand trial for attempted homicide

A West Finley man accused of firing two shots at his estranged wife, hitting her once with a bullet glancing off the back of her head, will stand trial on charges of attempted homicide and aggravated assault.

Frank Shook, 43, is accused of firing the shots at Candy Shook during a domestic at their home at 508 W. Finley Road, on Feb. 22. He waived a preliminary hearing Tuesday before Senior District Judge Jay Dutton on the charges filed by state police.
