Two arrested in restaurant robbery

A Monongahela woman is in Washington County Jail and a 15-year-old Monongahela boy is in a juvenile detention facility after they allegedly robbed the McDonald's restaurant, 301 W. Main St., about 3:43 a.m. Sunday.

April Ingram, 18, 435 Third St., and the boy are also accused of assaulting employees inside the restaurant. There also was one customer in the building.

Ingram was arraigned before District Judge Valarie Costanzo on charges including robbery and assault and placed in jail on $25,000 bond. The boy, charged in a juvenile allegation with assault and robbery, was taken to the Jefferson County (Ohio) Juvenile Detention facility near Stuebenville.
