Ladder braces stolen: Two aluminum ladder braces were stolen early Friday from outside a residence at 849 Henderson Ave., Lot No. 2, in Canton Township, state police said.

Assault charges: State police said they plan to charge Kevin A. Bercosky, 28, no address available, with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly struck another man shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday. Police said Bercosky hit 32-year-old Craig Giannin at 25 Madison St. in Cokeburg.

Television stolen: A Magnavox television worth $100 was stolen from a storage unit complex in Cross Creek Township, state police said. Police think the television was stolen from inside a locker at the Cedar Grove Storage Units on Avella Road between Nov. 15 and May 2.

Harassment charge: Scott Macosta of Daisytown will be charged with harassment after he shoved Corissa Engle of Roscoe while the two argued Thursday night at Kennedy Field in Elco, state police said.

Theft charge: Freeland Matthews III, 19, of 16 Ten Mile Lane, North Bethlehem Township, was charged with theft after state police said he stole nearly $500 worth of scrap metal from a neighbor on April 10.
