ELLSWORTH

Items stolen: State police said a person entered a Redwood Drive residence in Ellsworth at 4:10 p.m. Saturday and stole several items worth $3,880.

DUNKARD TOWNSHIP

Disorderly conduct: State police charged Stephen Leroy Holbert, 30, of Dilliner, with public drunkeness and disorderly conduct early Saturday morning. Police said Holbert became involved in an argument near Jimmie's Place in Newtown and left the area shortly after midnight. He was found at a relative's house several hours later.

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP

Underage drinking: Six boys from Mather and Rices Landing were cited for underage drinking and disorderly conduct early Saturday morning, state police said. Police said the boys, whom they did not identify because they are juveniles, were throwing eggs in the village of Dry Tavern.



Minor injuries: Tina M. Miller, 35, of Rices Landing, suffered minor injuries when she lost control of her car on Chartiers Road in Jefferson and crashed into a railroad overpass at 2:15 p.m. Saturday, state police said. She was transported by ambulance to Southwest Regional Medical Center in Waynesburg. Police said they could charge her with drunken driving pending the results of a blood-alcohol test.

MORGAN TOWNSHIP

Harassment charge: State police charged Jeremy David Dunseath of Washington with harassment following an argument with a woman at about 11 a.m. Friday at 139 A St. in Morgan Township. Police said Dunseath pushed Cindy Marie Jay of Washington and bit her arm.

SMITH TOWNSHIP

Multiple charges: Darel Lee Tustin faces nearly two dozen charges after he allegedly fought with Smith Township police when they tried to arrest him at a Burgettstown restaurant on a warrant from West Virginia. Police said Tustin, 29, of Langeloth, fought several officers inside George's Restaurant and Pub at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Police charged him with public drunkeness, four counts of aggravated assault and six counts each of harassment, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was arraigned by District Judge David Mark and taken to Washington County Jail when he could not post the $25,000 cash bond.
