Truck found burned: A box truck stolen from Samson Glass & Mirror, Route 519, Eighty Four, at 6 p.m. Sunday was found burned Monday along Lynn Bottom Road, Jefferson Township, Fayette County, state police said.

Driver charged: Shelly Kay Snyder, 19, of 214 Wood St., Belle Vernon, was charged with driving under the influence and other charges after a one-vehicle crash early Sunday on Highpoint Drive near Dally Road, Southwest Regional police said. Police from California Borough, California University of Pennsylvania, Charleroi and North Belle Vernon, along with Roscoe firefighters and Southwest Regional police, assisted in searching for Snyder after she left the scene of the 2:10 a.m. crash.



Warrant arrest: Eric Gene Pepper, 29, of 42 Stadium Road, Millsboro, was placed in Washington County Jail on a warrant from Greene County after a traffic stop Saturday by Southwest Regional police. Pepper also was charged with altered or forged documents for having a registration sticker on his vehicle that belonged to another vehicle, and with several motor vehicle violations.

Woman charged: Jessica L. Farmer, 20, of 310 Jefferson Ave., Washington, was charged by township police Monday with theft over accusations she stole as much as $300 over the past two months while working at Cracker Barrel.

Theft of purse: Onilee Rosensteel, 55, of Monongahela, told township police her purse containing $180 and credit cards was stolen about 1 p.m. Monday from her shopping cart while putting groceries in her vehicle outside Wal-Mart, Trinity Point.

Drug charges: Drug possession charges were filed Tuesday by Washington police against Brandy Cushenberry, 32, of 1042 Addison St., Washington. Police said at 2:20 a.m. Jan. 8 they stopped a vehicle Cushenberry was driving. She admitted to police she had marijuana in her purse. When she exited the vehicle, a bag of suspected cocaine fell out of the car. Cushenberry said it was not hers. There were three other people in the car. Police found the marijuana in her purse as well as currency totaling $5,900. The charges will proceed by summons from the office of District Judge J. Albert Spence.

Theft charges: Phillips Yagnich, 46, of 240 N. College St., Washington, was charged Tuesday with theft by Washington police. He allegedly entered a private party at the George Washington on March 29 and took $26 belonging to Sandee Umbach of Washington. The charges will proceed by summons from the office of District Judge J. Albert Spence.
