An Ohio man accused of sexually assaulting a girl over a seven-year period was ordered to stand trial Wednesday.

William Dale Sudduth, 39, of Barnesville, Ohio, was ordered held for court by District Judge James Ellis on charges of rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors following a preliminary hearing in Central Court.

The girl, who is now 14, said Sudduth first assaulted her when she was 7. He allegedly took her to a field off a back road in the Scenery Hill area, had her take off her clothes and fondled her.

She said that he fondled her several times over the years, including at a home in Claysville.

While at the Claysville home, she said, Sudduth, whom she called "picklehead," would make her watch pornographic videos.

"Then he would make me do what they were doing in the video," she said.

Ellis increased Sudduth's bond from $25,000 to $100,000, and he was returned to Washington County Jail.
