Numerous people appeared recentlly in Washington County Court on criminal charges.

Appearing before Judge Paul Pozonsky was:

Matthew J. Comer, 27, of 391 W. Chestnut St., Apt. 4, Washington; access device fraud, theft, retail theft, unauthorized use of a vehicle; charged Aug. 6 for using a Marianna woman's vehicle without permission after crashing the vehicle on Ten Mile Road, West Bethlehem Township, for stealing and using a North Franklin woman's debit card on Nov. 16, for stealing items from Sears in North Franklin Township on Dec. 12, and Jan. 10 for stealing items out of a vehicle parked on West Chestnut Street in Washington; sentence - 15 to 30 months in jail.

Cynthia J. Engle, 39, of 433 N. Broadway St., Albany, Ind.; two first driving-under-the-influence offenses; charged Aug. 8 following a traffic stop on Miller Road in Canton Township with a 0.29 percent blood-alcohol content, and on Dec. 30 following a one-vehicle accident on Rural Valley Road in Buffalo Township with a 0.177 percent BAC; sentence - 10 days to 12 months in jail, $2,000 in fines, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver's license suspension.

Gwen Morris, 26, of Smithton; first DUI offense; charged Dec. 28 following a traffic stop on Union Street in California with a 0.096 percent BAC; sentence - 6 months of probation, $300 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver's license suspension.

David M. Loudin, 35, of 10 Locust Grove Lane, McDonald; second DUI offense; charged Jan. 4 following a traffic stop on Noblestown Road in Midway with a .117 BAC; sentence - 60 days to 6 months in jail, $750 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver's license suspension.

Daniel L. Baldigowski, 51, of 1978 Route 980, Canonsburg; second DUI offense; charged Jan. 4 following a traffic stop on West Lincoln Avenue in McDonald with a 0.138 perent BAC; sentence - 60 days to 6 months in jail, $750 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver's license suspension.

Christina Morrison, 33, of 101 Deer Patch, Finleyville; accidents involving damage; charged Oct. 29 after leaving the scene of an accident on Linden Road in Eighty Four; sentence - 12 months of probation.

Richard Ambrose, 44, of 240 Main St., West Brownsville; first DUI offense; charged Dec. 15 following a one-vehicle accident on Route 88 on Centerville with a 0.233 percent BAC; sentence - 3 days to 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver's license suspension.

Joseph H. Daugherty, 47, of 181 Barnett St., Washington; second DUI offense, driving with a suspended license DUI-related; charged Jan. 1 on Jefferson Avenue in Washington with a 0.29 percent BAC; sentence - 180 days to 18 months in jail, $2,000 in fines, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver's license suspension.

Jeffrey C. Wall, 44, of 237 Fox Stop Road, Charleroi; second DUI offense; charged Dec. 21 following a traffic stop on Fremont Road in Fallowfield Township with a 0.132 percent BAC; sentence - 30 days to 6 months in jail, $750 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver's license suspension.

Ronald Mele, 45, of 115 Fifth Ave., New Eagle; first DUI offense; charged Feb. 4 following a vehicle accident on Chess Street in Monongahela, refusing BAC testing; sentence - 3 days to 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver's license suspension.

Matthew Marleau, 24, of 508 S. Palm St., Washington; second DUI offense; charged Nov. 9 following a traffic stop on East Maiden Street in Washington with a 0.342 percent BAC; sentence - 6 to 18 months in jail, $1,000 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver's license suspension.

Robert G. Radacy, 23, of 927 Henry St., Belle Vernon; first DUI offense; charged Jan. 1 following a traffic stop on Skyline Drive in California with a 0.180 percent BAC; sentence - 3 days to 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver's license suspension.
