Orris - Jacobs

Sarah Dianna Jacobs and Jeremiah Paul Orris were united in marriage October 4, 2008, in Crossroads United Methodist Church, Oakdale. The Rev. Dr. Steve Cordle officiated the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.

Her parents are Mark and Karen Lea Jacobs of Eighty Four. Her grandparents are Barry and Barbara Endy of Washington, Bob and Jackie Preaux of Canonsburg and the late William and Wanda Jacobs.

Parents of the bridegroom are Paul and Robin Orris of Summerville. His grandparents are Lois Orris of Brookville, the late Harry Orris, Olive Welsh of Brookville and the late Dale Welsh.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Michelle Zeh. Bridesmaids were Kristine Malmgren, Allyson Yukevich, Kate Ferri and Stephanie Zents.

Best man was Brett Dinger. Groomsmen were Kodel Orris, brother of the groom; Mark Jacobs II, brother of the bride; Olan Wilkens and Nathan Stahlman. Ushers were Fred Dawson and Joshua Wooden.

A reception was held Quicksilver Golf Club, Midway.

The new Mrs. Orris is a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and Clarion University. She is an administrative assistant at CBS Radio in Pittsburgh.

Mr. Orris is a graduate of Brookville High School and Slippery Rock University. He is a warehouse supervisor for Bay Valley Foods.

The newlyweds took a honeymoon trip to Universal Studios, Orlando, Fla., and make their home in Green Tree.
