Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges.

Appearing Friday before Judge John DiSalle were:

Cody Hawk, 18, of 218 Shady Ave., Charleroi; simple assault; charged Feb. 14 for assaulting a man at 716 Sixth St., Charleroi; sentence - Intermediate Punishment Program for 23 months, anger management classes.


Phillip A. Pagliari, 21, of 421 Fifth St., Donora; simple possession of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver; charged Oct. 9 for selling cocaine to a confidential informant at First Street and Castner Avenue in Donora; sentence - Intermediate Punishment Program for 23 months with the first 3 months in jail followed by 3 months of intensive supervision followed by another 12 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program.

Jeffrey Wehrle, 22, of 59 Second St., Westland; possession of a small amount of marijuana; charged April 5 following a traffic stop in McDonald; sentence - Probation Without Verdict program for 30 days.

David Korzinski, 35, of 1203 Nottingham Drive, Elizabeth; simple assault; charged March 20 for assaulting a man at 3141 National Pike in Richeyville; sentence - 12 months of probation, anger management classes.

John Capo, 56, of 1144 Brush Run Road, Washington; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged March 20 in a car on North Avenue in East Washington; sentence - 12 months of probation.

John Davies, 52, of 175 Brookside Ave., Apt. 5, Washington; three counts of harassment; charged for making threatening phone messages to 826 Old National Pike, Claysville, on April 6; sentence - 12 months of probation.

David Kormick, 26, of 727 Maple Grove Park, Bulger; possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia; charged March 21 on Maple Grove Road in Robinson Township; sentence - Probation Without Verdict program for 12 months.


Albert Morrell, 57, of 230 Cortez Drive, Washington; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged March 12 following a traffic stop on Murtland Avenue in South Strabane Township; sentence - Intermediate Punishment Program for 23 months with the first 6 month on intensive supervision.

Justin E. Oiler, 21, of 11 Perkins Lane, Burgettstown; possession of a small amount of marijuana; charged March 31 following a traffic stop on Old Steubenville Pike in McDonald; sentence - Probation Without Verdict program for 30 days.

Dale W. Seibert, 22, of 244 Main St., Apt. 1, Claysville; theft by unlawful taking; charged Feb. 28 for stealing 7,000 pounds of scrap metal from 3510 Park Ave., South Franklin Township; sentence - 18 months of probation, restitution.

Four people were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition program for first-time offenders. If they successfully complete the program, they can petition the court to have their records expunged.

Ashley Anderson, 20, of 431 Blaine Ave., Canonsburg, was admitted for 12 months for simple assault. She was charged Oct. 15 for assaulting a woman at 435 Ewing St., Meadow Lands.

Timothy Porco, no age given, of 2960 Abbey Lane, South Park, was admitted for 12 months for simple assault and harassment. He was charged March 20 for assaulting a woman at 400 McDowell Lane, North Strabane Township.

George Paxon, 29, of 691 Venetia Road, Venetia, was admitted for 12 months for theft. He was charged April 1 after trying to steal a sewer cover from a construction site on Maple Lane in Peters Township.

Salvatore Warrick, 37, of 22 Baker St., Burgettstown, was admitted for 12 months for theft. He was charged May 2 for stealing aluminum radiators from Grubb's Auto Wrecking in Hanover Township.

Appearing Thursday before DiSalle were:

Lorrin Dixon, 20, of 1188 Maple Terrace, Washington; possession of a small amount of marijuana; charged Feb. 16 on Charles Avenue in Washington; sentence - Probation Without Verdict for 30 days.

Adam Abbas, 19, of 150 Roberts Road, Washington; first DUI offense; charged Oct. 20 on Lacock Street in Canton Township; sentence - 72 hours to 12 months in jail, $300 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver's license suspension.

Scott M. Davis, 23, of 31 Dovercrest Lane, Eighty Four; three counts of access device fraud; charged for using a stolen bank card to make three purchases totaling $260 in February; sentence - 23 months of probation, 100 hours of community service, restitution.

Appearing Thursday before Pozonsky were:

Tina Bioni, 40, of 128 Robinson Highway, McDonald; found guilty March 31 following non-jury trial for welfare fraud; charged for illegally obtaining $20,589 in food stamps from July 10, 2003, to May 31, 2006; sentence - Intermediate Punishment Program for 48 hours, pay half of restitution by July 5.

Lance Crowley, 38, of 1224 Manor Drive, Pittsburgh; first DUI offense; charged Dec. 28 following a traffic stop on Route 19 in North Strabane Township with 0.267 percent blood-alcohol content; sentence - 10 days to 6 months in jail with the minimum sentence to be served on 15 consecutive weekends, $1,000 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver's license suspension.
