All of the men pleaded guilty earlier this year to conspiring with others to conduct an illegal gambling organization and engaging in money laundering.

District Judge David Cercone sentenced two of the men Friday: John (Jack) Glass, 59, of 208 W. Grant St., Houston, and Manuel Lemonakis, 79, of 204 Columbia Drive, Canonsburg. Glass was sentenced to three years' probation and a $1,000 fine. Lemonakis was sentenced to one year of probation and a $1,000 fine.

Edmond Alan Cononge, 47, of 193 Fairway Landings Drive, Canonsburg, was sentenced Thursday to three years' probation and fined $2,000.

Leonard Patnesky, 60, of 536 Craighead St., Canonsburg, and Joseph Selva, 72, of 181 Smith St., Canonsburg, were sentenced Tuesday. Patnesky was placed on one year of probation, and Selva received 18 months of probation.

Robert Arrigo, 67, of 6798 Kevin Drive, Bethel Park, and August Passieu III, 38, of 174 N. DePaoli Road, McDonald, were sentenced Monday. Arrigo was placed on probation for one year, while Passieu received two years of probation.

The men conspired to conduct the illegal gambling and money laundering scheme from 2002 to about July 1, 2006, in Washington County. The U.S. attorney's office said the gambling operation involved sports betting, numbers betting and an illegal ticket drawing game.

The men are part of a group of 12 charged in connection with the operation.

Still awaiting sentencing are Ross P. Jicomelli Jr., 63, of 156 Sedeca Drive, Canonsburg; Kim (Maxine) Zullo, 49, of 141 Oak St., Westland; Georgianna Gebhardt, 53, of 455 Old Hickory Ridge Road, Washington; Paul W. Harrington Jr., 54, of 124 Third St., McDonald; and Terry L. Wise, 55, of 1968 S. Main St., Washington.
