Dobscha - 50 years

Ernie and Gerri Dobscha of Washington celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with a party for family and friends given by their children and families in the home of their daughter.

The Dobschas were married June 6, 1959, in North Buffalo Church, Washington, with the Rev. John Mark Scott officiating.

Their children are Barry Dobscha Sr. of Washington and Debi Meni of Houston.

The couple have six grandchildren, Melissa Bird, Michelle Lawrence, Barry Dobscha Jr., Chris McCracken, Bryan McCracken and Chaleece McCracken; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Dobscha is a retired bricklayer from Local 9 and Mrs. Dobscha is semi-retired from Audiologics Inc.
