Pittsburgh slots casino opening to be delayed
This article has been read 306 times.
PITTSBURGH (AP) - Pittsburgh's slots casino is delaying its opening by four days because water from last week's storm damaged some machines and some others were damaged in transit.
The Rivers Casino will now open on Aug. 9 instead of Aug. 5. President Ed Fasulo says the extra days will ensure a flawless grand opening.
A casino spokesman says about 50 machines were damaged in the storm. He didn't know how many were damaged in transit.
The state gaming board approved the casino's delay request Wednesday.

I don't really care if this "slot parlor" ever opens; I won't go there. The real action is in West Virginia at Wheeling Island and Mountianeer Park
