AMWELL TOWNSHIP
Copper stolen: Louis Vore of 556 Chestnut Ridge Road, Amwell, told state police Monday that 50 feet of copper wire and 60 feet of copper pipe were stolen from his home and 8 feet of copper wire was stolen from a lightning rod. It was the second theft of copper at his home in just a few days.

Paint sprayed: State police said vandals sprayed paint on the side wall of the Knights of Columbus building and the garage wall at Ave Maria Parish, Abromaitis Street near Church Street, Bentleyville. The damage was reported Friday.
CANONSBURG
Assault charge: Kevin Olinger of 14 E. Pitt St., Canonsburg, will be charged by Canonsburg police with simple assault for allegedly punching Danielle Metts, also of 14 E. Pitt, in the head and jaw early Wednesday. He also grabbed and pulled her, police said.
Bar fight: Canonsburg police said there was a fight early Wednesday at Karen's Korner, 26 N. Jefferson Ave. Police found a blood trail on the street but no victim.
Drug theft: Tera Nelson of 205 Orchard Ave., Canonsburg, told Canonsburg police Tuesday that a thief picked up her prescription for Vicodin and Flexorall at Rite Aid in Canonsburg. She discovered the theft when she called to see if the prescriptions were done and was told the drugs had been picked up.
Identity theft: Stephen Landry of 201 Summit Ave., Canonsburg, told Canonsburg police Monday that his identity was used to open an electrical utility account in his name in Austin, Texas.
CANTON TOWNSHIP
Two jailed: Angel McDivitt, 27, of 421 Buena Vista St., Canton, was arrested Tuesday night by state police after she allegedly kicked Patrick Hughey, 32, also of 421 Buena Vista, in the head during a confrontation near the intersection of Buena Vista and Short Street, Canton.
McDivitt was arraigned via video before District Judge Valarie Costanzo on charges of simple assault and harassment. She was placed in Washington County Jail on $2,500 bond.
Hughey, who was put in Washington County Jail on a bench warrant, was arraigned Wednesday morning before District Judge David Mark for violating a protection-from-abuse order. He was returned to jail on $5,000 bond.
Assault arrest: Ernest A. Shirley, 35, of 1125 Wilmington Ave., Canton, was arrested by state police Tuesday for allegedly pushing his estranged wife, Lori Shirley, to the ground and closing the car door on her thumb during a confrontation at 98 Caldwell Ave., Canton. He is also accused of shoving Justine Schillinger, who was baby-sitting Shirley's child.
He was arraigned via video before District Judge Valarie Costanzo on two counts of harassment and one count of simple assault. He was placed in Washington County Jail on $2,500 bond.
Money stolen: Diana Lillian of 954 Buena Vista St., Canton, told state police that someone stole $270 from her vehicle between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday as it was parked outside her residence.
COAL CENTER
Harassment charge: Charity Jonte Thompson, 22, of McClellandtown, was charged by Southwest Regional police with harassment after allegedly assaulting Heather Deangelo, 18, of Coal Center, during an incident Tuesday at 123 Spring St., Coal Center.
EAST BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP
Aggravated assault: Teddy Darrell Strong, 47, of 111 Fredericktown Terrace, Fresericktown, East Bethlehem, was arrested Tuesday by state police after he allegedly pointed a loaded semiautomatic handgun at Michael A. Moye, 20, of Washington, and threatened to kill him during an incident at Strong's home. When police arrived, they reportedly found a switchblade knife in his home.
Strong was arraigned via video before District Judge Valarie Costanzo on charges of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and having a prohibited offensive weapon. He was placed in Washington County Jail on $10,000 bond.
FALLOWFIELD TOWNSHIP
Club break-in: Burglars broke into the Charleroi Archery Club, Fremont Road, Fallowfield, and stole $60, state police said. The burglary was reported Monday morning. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-929-6262.
MORRIS TOWNSHIP
Missing boy: State police are looking for a 15-year-old boy who walked away from Southwood Psychiatric Hospital about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The young man, whose name was not released, was described as being white, 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighing about 174 pounds. He has brown hair, hazel eyes and was wearing black nylon jogging pants, a black button-up shirt with blue flames and black and red sneakers, according to police.
Police said he was last seen walking north on state Route 18.
PETERS TOWNSHIP
Two injured: The driver of a tractor-trailer was unable to stop at Washington Road and Crosswinds Drive at 11:29 a.m. Monday, township police said.
The rig, driven by Michael Goode, 37, of Mee Lane, Old Fort, Tenn., struck the rear of a pickup truck driven by Joseph Kopp, 41, of Beacon Avenue, Washington, police said. The accident happened as both drivers were traveling south.
Kopp and a passenger in his pickup, James King, no age listed, of Second Avenue, Waynesburg, were treated at Canonsburg General Hospital and released, said a hospital spokeswoman. Goode was not injured.
Gasoline stolen: About $60 in gasoline was siphoned from a car parked in a lot near the Peters Township Sanitary Authority in the 100 block of Valley Brook Road before 4:32 p.m. Monday, township police said.
The owner said the fuel was stolen between 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. while the car was parked near Arrowhead Trail.
SOUTH FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP
Two charged: Leigh Nadler of Pittsburgh and James Hebley of South Park were charged by state police with harassment for allegedly hitting each other during a confrontation Sunday on S Bridge Road, South Franklin.
WASHINGTON
Drug charges: Lona Shriver of 154 W. Franklin St. was free on $5,000 unsecured bail Wednesday after being arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
Washington police charged Shriver with possession of crack cocaine and two glass pipes in the 200 block of Locust Avenue May 6.
Boy missing: Sandy Schieck of 26 E. Katherine Ave. told Washington police Tuesday that her son had left their home and not returned after an argument about 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Police said the two had been in contact via text messaging on their cell phones.
Her son, Kyler Livingston, 16, is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 6 feet 1 inch tall and was wearing a light blue T-shirt, white and blue tennis shoes and baggy denim shorts.
Escape charge: Police charged William Edward Clark, 19, of 72 Hawking St., with escape after he failed to return from a temporary furlough to the Washington County Jail by 4 p.m. Friday.
