BUFFALO TOWNSHIP

Vehicles damaged: Vandals damaged vehicles in Buffalo Tuesday, state police said.

Thomas Snyder, 531 Rural Valley Road, and Delazon Freier, 163 Hathaway Road, reported the rear windows on their vehicles were damaged while parked at their homes.

Warrant arrest: Kimberly Ann Kloster, 47, whose last known address was 118 Jeanne St., Canton, was arrested Thursday on several warrants obtained by state police.

Kloster is accused of opening a VIP preferred account at Meadows Racetrack & Casino using the name and a check stolen from Barbara Clutter of 119 Jeanne in April. She was able to access $150 from Clutter's bank account. Kloster also allegedly cashed a check belonging to Clutter at Wal-Mart, Trinity Point, South Strabane Township.

Kloster also is accused of twice violating protection-from-abuse orders obtained by Clutter.

Kloster was arraigned before District Judge Valarie Costanzo on charges of identity theft, theft, forgery, access device fraud and violating the PFAs. She was placed in Washington County Jail on $7,500 bond.

Mischief charge: State police investgating several incidents of vandalism at Belvedere Acres, Canton, Thursday. The windshield of a vehicle owned by Robert Reed of Washington was broken. Three windows in an apartment in the complex also were broken.

FALLOWFIELD TOWNSHIP

Assault arrest: Ryan Sybolt, 38, of 29 Holly Drive, Charleroi, was arrested by Fallowfield police after he allegedly assaulted his wife, Jolene Sybolt, during a confrontation at their home Thursday night.

Police said he allegedly dragged her out of her bed and into the living room after he came home intoxicated. Sybolt also choked and punched her in the back in the presence of their 4-year-old child, police said. He also threatened her.

Sybolt was arraigned before District Judge Valarie Costanzo on charges of simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment and terroristic threats. He was placed in Washington County Jail on $5,000 bond.

INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP

Harassment charge: John Bebo Jr., 61, of Avella, faces two counts of harassment stemming from a fight Wednesday at American Legion Post 643, 30 Short St., Independence, state police said.

Bebo is accused of shoving William Ward, 65, of Avella, to the ground during a meeting. When Gerald Baudin, 66, of Georgetown, Beaver County, tried to get Bebo off Ward, Bebo allegedly struck him.

MIDWAY

Theft, DUI charges: Richard A. Arbuckle, 22, of 8655 Noblestown Road, McDonald, was arrested by state police after allegedly taking a 2001 Nissan Xterra, owned by Tara Cowden, 8706 Noblestown Road, and then crashing near 933 Candor Road, Midway, Thursday night.

Arbuckle crashed the vehicle into a shed. He allegedly admitted to police he had consumed a half bottle of rum.

Arbuckle was arraigned before District Judge Valarie Costanzo on charges of theft, receiving stolen property, driving under the influence of alcohol, criminal mischief, unauthorized use of a vehicle and several traffic violations. He was placed in Washington County Jail on $10,000 bond.

NORTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP

Money missing: North Strabane police are investigating the theft of $40 from a money drawer at McDonald's on Meadowlands Boulevard. Twenty dollars was missing from the drawer Monday and Tuesday.

WASHINGTON

Mischief charge: Robert Fields, 19, of 866 Broad St., Washington, will be charged with criminal mischief by Washington police after he allegedly threw an object at the apartment window of Leslie Gaten, 250 Lincoln Terrace, breaking it early Friday. He also allegedly damaged the side mirror of her vehicle.

WEST FINLEY TOWNSHIP

Tires cut: Don Pope, 700 Beham Ridge Road, West Finley, told state police Wednesday that vandals cut three of the four tires on his vehicle.
