A Peters Township man died Tuesday afternoon following an accident Monday between a motorcycle and a car.

Sean Cullen, 19, of 111 Lexington Drive, was flown to Allegheny General Hospital following the 3:57 p.m. accident in the 3600 block of Washington Road. He died at 1:22 p.m. Tuesday, a spokesman with the Allegheny County medical examiner's office said.

Cullen was traveling south on his motorcycle in the curb lane when his vehicle collided with a car driven by Nicole Hutchins, 21, of 314 Pleasant Ave., McMurray, police said. He was not wearing a helmet, according to police.

Hutchins was attempting to enter a muffler shop by a left turn from the north lanes of Washington Road, police said, when the collision occurred.

The impact forced Cullen through the car’s window and into the passenger side of Hutchins’ car, police said.

A complete accident report was not available Tuesday.

Hutchins was treated at Canonsburg General Hospital and released, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
