KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Kalamazoo erased a 3-2 deficit by scoring 10 runs in the fourth inning. That helped the Kings defeat the Washington Wild Things, 14-10, Friday night.

Joe Ramos cracked a three-run home run and Destan Makonnen added a two-run blast in that fourth inning. Ramos went 3-for-4 with three RBI and scored two runs for Kalamazoo (27-13).

Washington reliever Sean Heimpel faced six batters, could not get any outs, and surrendered six straight hits that produced five runs in the fourth. Josh Short had two RBI and Brandon Anderson and Simon Williams each had one as the Kings took a 12-3 lead.

Grant Psomas singled, doubled and hit a home run for Washington (16-24). Psomas' homer came in the third and followed one by Jacob Dempsey as Washington took a 3-2 lead. Chris Sidick smacked a two-run blast in the sixth to pull the Wild Things to within 13-6.

Kalamazoo rocked four Wild Things pitchers for 18 hit.
