On Wednesday, it was used for yet another film.
Crews from Lionsgate Productions in Los Angeles were in front of Hotel Pitt to shoot a scene for the film "Warrior." The movie, which stars Nick Nolte (who apparently was not in the scene shot locally), is about two brothers from Pittsburgh involved in mixed martial arts.
The scene being shot Wednesday involves a bus pulling up on nearby Barr Street and an actor getting off and walking over to the hotel, where he spends the night. In addition to the exterior shot, there will be scenes shot inside the hotel. In the rear of the building, large pieces of black fabric were draped over the windows to simulate nighttime.

Although the crew with "Warrior" had offered those residing in the hotel a week's stay at a nearby motel, Schons said most declined the offer, instead preferring to hang around and watch the scene being shot there.
