Three former executives with FedEx Ground in Pittsburgh said Thursday they have established ETC & Associates, LLC, Pittsburgh, to aid less-than-truckload, truckload and small package transportation and logistics companies.

Ivan Hoffman, formerly executive vice president and chief operating officer of FedEx Ground, Ronald Trombetta, former senior vice president and chief financial officer; and David Gerschultz, senior vice president of operations, said they established the company to help clients navigate the current economic slowdown and high gasoline and diesel prices by providing executive level expertise and superior consulting services in business plan development, operational improvements, cost analysis and labor relations to enhance efficiencies, profitability and growth.
