Morascyzk - Beam

Christina Beam and Joseph Morascyzk were married at Calvary United Methodist Church, Pittsburgh, at 3 p.m. May 5, 2007, with the Rev. Thomas Funk officiating. Following the ceremony was a reception at Heinz Field and a honeymoon trip to Hawaii.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Robert and Melissa Beam of Level Green. Her grandparents are Ila Mae Beam of Monroeville and the late Nelson Beam, and Lula Kolcun of Washington and the late Frank Myers.

The bridegroom's parents are Angelo and Karen Morascyzk of Washington. His grandparents are Ed Morascyzk of Canonsburg and the late Elena Morascyzk, and the late Joseph and Rose Marie Urso.

Maid of honor was Carolyn Beam of Level Green, sister of the bride, and matron of honor was Raina George of Murrysville. Bridesmaids were Kristen Lesako of Washington, cousin of the groom, and Jenn Parsons of Irwin, Stephanie Stambolis of Cranberry, Stefanie Fawcett of Pittsburgh and Leah Bienemann of Beaver Falls.

Michael Morascyzk of Beaver Falls served as best man for his brother. Groomsmen were E.J. Morascyzk of Washington, cousin of the groom; Jacob Polochak of Washington, cousin of the groom; Jayson Hobbs of North Kingstown, R.I.; Marcus Persichetti of Monroeville; Paul Eckenrode of Loretto; and Dave Martinsky of Canonsburg.

The new Mrs. Morascyzk is director of real estate for Aldi Food Stores, Saxonburg, and Mr. Morascyzk is an attorney at the Family Legal Center in Washington.

She is a graduate of Penn Trafford High School and Washington & Jefferson College. He is a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School, Washington & Jefferson College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

The newlyweds make their home in Cranberry.
