Presidents day held at Chuck Noll Stadium
Saturday turned into a record-setting day for the Washington & Jefferson College football team.
The Presidents rolled up a school-record 863 yards of offense and routed Saint Vincent, 64-6, in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game at Chuck Noll Field in Latrobe.
The Presidents (1-0, 4-0) also set a school record with 424 rushing yards while three W&J quarterbacks combined to complete 31 of 38 passes for 439 yards - another school record - and four touchdowns.

Kevin Mathews totaled 227 all-purpose yards and scored four touchdowns for the Presidents, who are averaging 626 yards per game. Mathews, an Upper St. Clair graduate, rushed for 122 yards and two scores and caught four passes for 64 yards and two touchdowns.
Quarterback Bobby Swallow completed 16 of 19 passes for 323 yards and four touchdowns in 25 minutes of action. He hit David Ravida, Tom McCafferty and Mathews twice. Washington graduate Zack Zebrasky completed 12 of 15 passes for 98 yards.
McCafferty compiled a career-high 171 yards on six catches while Ravida had 70 yards on five receptions. Brendan O'Mahony also scored. David Gitlitz and John Fahey each had six tackles, and Todd Keenan and Mike Sedunov each had an interception for the 12th-ranked Presidents.
Saint Vincent was held to 210 total yards and 10 first downs. W&J had 41 first downs.
