A man wanted in connection with an alleged attempted bombing of a South Fayette Township family last weekend told police he would turn himself in Friday evening, but he failed to appear.
On Friday, township police obtained an arrest warrant for Thomas J. Moore, 18, who originally lived in South Fayette but currently lives in the South Park Township area. After Moore failed to turn himself in, police were unable to contact him.

Moore's charges stem from an incident Oct. 4 when police were called to 707 Dutch Hill Road after Bonnie Janney found several suspicious clear bottles in family bedrooms. Her son, Christopher Janney, 16, was missing. The bottles contained a powdery white substance and were placed near the heads of sleeping family members. No one was injured.
Janney was arrested Sunday as his family was attempting to have him admitted to Southwood Psychiatric Hospital. Janney remains in Allegheny County Jail charged as an adult, Volle said. Janney is charged with five counts of criminal attempted homicide and one count each of reckless endangerment and criminal conspiracy.
Moore, according to Volle, is accused of transporting the bomb-making material to Janney.
Moore's name is included in the original police criminal complaint as the "TJ" to whom Janney sent text messages, including one in which Janney allegedly messaged "I went through with my plan, I did not want to . . ."
Moore is also, Volle said, accused of picking up Janney after the incident at a gasoline station on Route 50 in the township. For that he is charged with hindering apprehension and interference with the custody of a child, as Janney is a juvenile, even though he is charged as an adult.
Anyone with information on Moore's whereabouts is asked to call 412-221-2170 or 911 in Allegheny County.
Police also obtained an arrest warrant Friday for an unnamed juvenile who checked himself into a Pittsburgh psychiatric hospital, Volle said.
Upon discharge, the juvenile will be charged as an adult for his alleged involvement.
