Taylor Augustine scored four goals, including three in the first 18 minutes, and Waynesburg clinched a playoff spot with a 6-0 win over Laurel Highlands in a Section 6-AAA match.
Claire Vehar had a goal and an assist, and Abby Toothman also scored for the Raiders (9-4-0, 12-4-1). Rebecca Rohanna added two assists while goalkeepers Ashley Phillips and Anne Throckmorton combined for the shutout.
Laurel Highlands fell to 2-10-1 in the section, 3-14-1 overall.

Lauren McAnany had two goals and an assist and Cassie Spalding scored twice. Sierra Kelly and Jessica Polen also had goals, and seniors Hilary Clark and Michelle Gottschalk had one assist each.
Shelby Ward made four saves in goal for the Highlanders (8-2-0, 11-3-1). The Gators are 6-4-0, 9-6-1.
• Samantha Ritzer's hat trick propelled Bentworth over Beth-Center, 4-2, in a Section 1-AA match.
Ashley Hamstra had a goal and two assists for the Bearcats (3-7, 4-11). Megan Sowers netted both goals for the Bulldogs (1-9, 2-14).
Ritzer set a school record with a four-goal game in a 7-4 loss to Geibel last week.
Women's soccer
Junior Christina Adams and sophomore Lauren Graeser each scored one goal and assisted on two others as Westminster topped Washington & Jefferson, 3-0, in PAC action at Alexandre Stadium.
Adams found the back of the net 6:35 into the contest after breaking free off a pass from Graeser. The Lady Titans (3-0, 9-2-2) made it a 2-0 game eight minutes later when Graeser collected Adams' shot and fired a goal into an undefended net.
Freshman Sarah Nee, a Peters Township graduate, concluded the scoring in the 79th minute.
Men's soccer
Martin Pletz scored the only goal of the match in the 83rd minute to lift Lock Haven to a 1-0 win over California at Roadman Park.
Cal (5-5-2, 7-5-3)outshot the visitors, 18-5, including 10 attempts by sophomore Mike Luecke.
Judge tosses charge against Baldonado
A drug conspiracy charge against suspended Duquesne University forward Stuard Baldonado has been dismissed. He was accused of acting as a lookout for a man suspected of selling marijuana.
He was arrested Aug. 31 and charged with criminal conspiracy involving the manufacture, delivery or possession of a controlled substance.
A week later, Baldonado was arrested again when Pittsburgh police said they spotted him smoking marijuana by himself on a street corner near the Duquesne campus.
Yankees to make rare visit to Pittsburgh
The New York Yankees will play in Pittsburgh for the first time since Game 7 of the 1960 World Series when they visit PNC Park for a three-game interleague series June 24-26.
The Toronto Blue Jays, who also haven't appeared in Pittsburgh since interleague play began in 1997, are set for a three-game series there June 20-22. Tampa Bay will be the Pirates' other interleague home opponent, visiting June 27-29.
The Pirates' first interleague series in Baltimore is scheduled for June 13-15. The Orioles have appeared in Pittsburgh during interleague play, but the Pirates haven't played a game that counted in Baltimore since winning Game 7 of the 1979 World Series there.
Pittsburgh's other interleague series will be against the White Sox in Chicago from June 17-19.
The Pirates' season opener will be March 31 in Atlanta as part of a weeklong road trip that includes a three-game series at Florida. The home opener will be Monday, April 7, against the NL Central champion Chicago Cubs.
The Pirates will end the season with a six-game road trip to Milwaukee and San Diego.
While holiday baseball once was a staple of the major league schedule, the Pirates will be off on two of the three summer holidays, Memorial Day and Labor Day. They play in Milwaukee on July 4.
June will be the busiest month for the Pirates at home as they play 19 of their 28 games that month in PNC Park. They will have only one home stand in September, from Sept. 12-21, as road trips of 10 and six games are set for that month.
