Truck stolen: Michael Spadaro of 253 Smithfield St. told Canonsburg police that his work truck, owned by Tom Manganas of Manganas Construction of North Strabane Township, was stolen Monday. The 2003 Chevrolet Silverado had a tool box in the back that contained tools valued from $3,000 to $5,000. Power tools, also valued from $3,000 to $5,000, were inside the truck.
CECIL TOWNSHIP
Driver injured: Anthony Donati, 37, of Cecil, was injured Sunday afternoon in a crash on Interstate 79 in Cecil. State police said Donati attempted to change lanes on the slick roadway. His car went off the highway, hit a light pole and then a hillside before rolling over.

NORTH FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP
Clerk scammed: North Franklin police said that a clerk at Sears at Washington Crown Center was scammed out of $550 from two people who purchased a compact disc player.
One of the suspects, a heavyset black man in his 30s, may have committed a similar quick change scam at other Sears stores, police said.
The scam was reported Monday to police.
Grill stolen: John R. McFall of 114 Hamilton St. told North Franklin police Monday that his large gas grill, propane tank and large pot were stolen from the back of his home.
Fake bill passed: Personnel at BP, 1360 W. Chestnut St., told North Franklin police Monday that a fake $100 bill was in the weekend receipts sent to the bank.
Two-vehicle crash: Lorea Colvin, 78, of Washington, was slightly injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday on West Chestnut Street near Ellwood Park, North Franklin police said.
Colvin was a passenger in a vehicle driven by George Morris, 82, of Washington. The driver of the other vehicle involved was Stanley Wrubleski, 81, of Chartiers Township.
Mirror damaged: Anita Ross of Aleppo told North Franklin police that the mirror on her vehicle was broken off while parked in the lot at Washington Crown Center Saturday.
Teen charged: A 13-year-old Amwell Township girl has been charged by North Franklin police with disorderly conduct and harassment after she was found with a switchblade at Washington Crown Center on Nov. 7. The girl reportedly pulled the knife on another person at the Game Room.
Drug charge: Lucky Kirby, 36, of Palm City, Fla., was charged by North Franklin police with disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia after a suspected marijuana pipe was found in his bed at the Ramada Inn, 1170 W. Chestnut St., on Nov. 5.
Backpack stolen: Charles A. Sochor II of Washington told North Franklin police Nov. 11 that his backpack containing a calculus book and graphing calculator were stolen from his vehicle while parked at Washington Crown Center.
Teen charged: North Franklin police charged a 16-year-old North Franklin boy with underage drinking, public drunkenness, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a Nov. 8 traffic stop on Fulton Street.
PETERS TOWNSHIP
Harassment: Two large rocks were thrown at a mailbox in the 100 block of Lindenvale Drive before 7:27 p.m. Monday, township police said. The incident may be related to threatening text messages a young woman in the house received on her cellular telephone, police said. The messages were retrieved from the phone, police said.
SMITH TOWNSHIP
Lying to police: Brandy Avery, 26, of Aliquippa, is charged with giving police false information and conspiracy to commit aggravated assault stemming from a shooting Aug. 23, court records show. She allegedly told police Cole Littleton was shot in the side at a field party when information later surfaced that she took him to a hospital after he was shot at 40 Shin Hill, Smith police stated in the affidavit. She was released on recognizance bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
SOUTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP
Man assaulted: David Bird, 44, of Washington, told South Strabane police Monday that he was hit in the head with a baseball bat by a man he had been helping move to Marianna. Bird told police the man, whom he knew only as Nate, became angry when a dresser fell off the back of the pickup truck off Route 19.
WASHINGTON
Drug charges: Travis Lee Smith, 26, of 629 1/2 Broad St., Washington, is charged with delivery of cocaine, drug possession and a parole violation, court records show. He is accused of selling a confidential informant an ounce of cocaine for $300 about 5:20 p.m. Aug. 23, 2006, at Walnut and N. Main streets, stated police stated in the affidavit. He is in Washington County Jail on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
Small stash found: A Washington County deputy sheriff found a small quantity of marijuana Tuesday morning in the home of a woman he was arresting on a bench warrant. Cpl. Frank Konek saw a small baggie with green material in it at the home of Tami Lu Richards, 48, of 87 1/2 E. Maiden St., Washington, when he arrived at 7:50 a.m. to serve a bench warrant. According to a criminal complaint filed Tuesday afternoon in the office of District Judge Marjorie Teagarden, the material field-tested positive as marijuana.
Bogus bills: Two counterfeit $5 bills were passed at Cigarette City, 1060 Jefferson Ave., within two days last week, Washington police said. Neither the female clerk nor the store owner were able to describe the person who passed the counterfeit bills last Wednesday and Friday.
Windshield broken: Washington police investigated the report of another car windshield shattered by what is believed to be a shot from a pellet gun. The latest was reported Monday in the 700 block of Allison Avenue. Over the weekend, there were at least two other cars with windows damaged by BB or pellet guns.
