Car stolen: State police said a 2002 Saturn SL2 belonging to Laura Thomas of 46 Sycamore St. was stolen from her driveway between 2:30 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP

Driver injured: Anne M. Ullom, 38, of Avella, suffered minor injuries Thursday when she lost control of her vehicle on Washington Pike, according to state police.

Ullom was traveling east at 5:15 p.m. when her vehicle traveled across the westbound lane and left the road. Her vehicle struck a guardrail, traveled over an embankment, struck a wire fence and rolled onto its roof.

A passenger in the vehicle, Brit Kelley, 16, of Avella, was not injured, police said.
