Holub said that Agway's delivery service is an important part of meeting the needs of customers. If an order is placed in the morning a delivery can often be made by mid-afternoon, and for a small fee Agway will haul anything the customer can't move alone, from feed to gates or even telephone poles. Special orders can be made for products not readily available in the store.

The knowledgeable staff is made up of ten employees, some of whom have been with Eighty Four Agway for more than 30 years. Many employees grew up on farms and have first-hand experience working in the settings to which customer needs apply. They are happy to aid customers to their best ability in any aspect of outdoor work or pet care.

Eighty Four Agway offers a number of products at competitive prices. The store carries the feed and pet food brands Purina, Cargill, Iams and Eukanuba, as well as Green Lawn brand fertilizers, to name just a few. It also carries a variety of animal health products, including medicines, vitamins and antibiotics for most animals. Shavings, warmers, halters and wood pellets for home heating are also available.

In addition, the work of local craftsmen is frequently sold in the store, including hand-crafted birdfeeders, candles and greeting cards.

Agway was formed in the late 1960s and what were once corporate stores have been privately owned by Chet and Sherry Whelpley since they purchased the Beaver County store in 1987. Agway stores are also located in Butler, Imperial and New Castle.

The employees of Eighty Four Agway invite customers to come in, take a look around and observe the wide variety of products and services that make outdoor living easy and enjoyable. The store is open Monday thru Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
