Arrest in Kwik Fill robbery

A Clarksville man was arrested Wednesday as a suspect in a convenience store robbery last weekend in Somerset Township.

Dennis E. Woodring, 34, of 160 4th St., was identified as a suspect in the Saturday robbery at a Kwik Fill at routes 519 and 136 by several people who recognized him in a surveillance photo released to the media, court records show.

Woodring was arrested at a Washington County drug and alcohol office and later arraigned on charges of robbery and theft.

Senior District Judge Marjorie Teagarden released him on $5,000 unsecured bond with the understanding he was immediately entering a drug rehab clinic, a court official said.
