The Physical Therapy Institute

This article has been read 1570 times.

Vissman Therapeutics would like to announce the opening of their new location, THE PHYSICAL THERAPY INSTITUTE. The office will be located in the Meadow Pointe Building, Suite 303, near the Meadows Racetrack and Casino. The new location is more convenient for patients seeking physical therapy and rehabilitation services throughout the area. This location will replace their Jefferson Avenue location.

"It's exciting to solidify a presence in southwestern Pennsylvania by also announcing a name change and new identity to The Physical Therapy Institute," stated Dr. Shannon Vissman, CEO and founding partner.

Center Director for The Physical Therapy Institute, Karlene DuBois, DPT, and her staff are specialized in assessing a person's need and prescribing individualized physical therapy, rehabilitation, and exercise programs for a varied population.

"We are grateful to have a convenient office location that features approximately 3,000 square feet of spacious treatment and exercise area, state-of-the-art equipment and wellness services. There is the additional added bonus of a spectacular view of the southwestern PA countryside," stated Ms. Dubois. "With our smaller Washington office moving from the Jefferson Avenue location to our brand new and significantly larger location here at the Meadow Point Building Two, patients will find our new office more accessible and convenient with plenty of free parking."

The Physical Therapy Institute and its therapists make decisions that are based on the needs of our patients, using the most current medical and scientific evidence. Specific treatments included, but are not limited to:

o Orthopedic and Sports Injuries

o Back and Neck Pain

o Acute and chronic pain syndromes

o Spinal Rehabilitation

o Post Surgical Rehabilitation

o Balance and Dizziness problems

o Painful Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy

o TMJ & Headaches

o Foot & Ankle problems

When it comes to maintaining a patient's health and well-being, Ms. Dubois does have one guarantee that she proposes to patients. "If you don't offer physical therapy, you are guaranteed that nothing will change!"

We realize that one of the most important factors in choosing a physical therapy clinic is acceptance of different insurances. We accept most major insurances in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Patients who see Wayne Schmidt, PT, Center Director at the Canonsburg office will be unaffected by this office relocation.
