A member of the West Brownsville Volunteer Fire Co. is facing two counts of arson over accusations he attempted to set two houses on fire.

Brian Wilson Dunker, 22, of 204 Main St., West Brownsville, is being held on $200,000 bond in connection with fires that were deliberately set in the borough Oct. 27 and Nov. 3, court records show.

State police said the fires were started in rags that were either stuffed under siding or wrapped around an outdoor electrical service. Dunker is a fire officer with the department.
