Erica Bristor, who will be a senior at Waynesburg Central High School, was crowned the 2009 Pennsylvania Bituminous Coal Queen Sunday following the pageant at Carmichaels Area High School auditorium.

The 56th annual Coal Show continues this week and will conclude Saturday with the traditional King Coal Parade.

Congratulations Ms Coal Queen, it takes a lot of hard work, talent, competition, and love for the other girls to make it, You did well! As for all the other candidates,, keep your head up and smiles on, what a night to remember! Happy for all of you!!
