Coroner: Crucible woman died after striking head

Greene County Deputy Coroner Mary Lewis said Wednesday that 78-year-old Olga Zappone, who was found dead in her Crucible home Tuesday night, bled to death when she fell and struck her head on a coffee table.

Cumberland Township Police said they were called at 10:30 p.m. to Zappone’s home at 320 Fifth Avenue when a neighbor went to her home to check on her and found her on the floor.
