West Finley Township firefighters and members of the Washington County Hazardous Materials team were on the scene of an oil storage tank fire Tuesday night on Laidleys Run Road, West Alexander.

A fire at a 5,000-gallon oil tank at Hansen Engineering Inc., 167 Laidleys Run Road, was reported shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday. Firefighters were expected to be at the scene for several hours.

No details about the fire or its cause were immediately available. No injuries were reported.
