If you’re not yet registered and plan to vote in the May 19 primary, today is the last day to register to vote.

This year, three county offices – controller, recorder of deeds and sheriff – are on the ballot, as are local offices such as mayor, council, supervisor and school board.

Residents of the Washington area, Claysville area and Bentleyville area will also see contests for district justice on their ballots.

Blaine Township residents are being asked to vote on a local government reorganization known as home rule and choose a study commission.
