A Slovan man has been identified as the driver killed in a three-vehicle accident this morning in Union Township.
Roger Walters, 48, of Run Street, was thrown from his truck about 6:00 a.m. on Route 837 near Elrama when a delivery truck crossed lanes and caused the accident, the Washington County coroner’s office said.
He was pronounced dead of multiple injuries at 6:34 a.m. at the scene of the collision near Route 837 and Bentley Drive, Coroner Tim Warco said. The other drivers suffered minor injuries.
Route 837 reopened to traffic about 12:30 p.m. after the wreckage and a fuel spill were cleaned up, police said.
