Woman dies from complications of 2007 crash

A woman who was critically injured in a motorcycle crash almost 15 months ago in West Brownsville has died.

Tina Marie Hoyle Howard, 44, of Washington, died Thursday of complications resulting from injuries suffered in the Nov. 4, 2007, crash, said Washington County Coroner Tim Warco.

Howard was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by Todd C. Hammond, 42, of Prosperity. Hammond died at the scene.

Hammond was traveling south on the ramp from Route 88 to Route 40 when his motorcycle went across the median, fell on its right side, and came to rest on a hillside. Neither he nor Howard wore a helmet.
