EDWARDSVILLE - Three people have been arrested and charged in the 2005 slaying of a 72-year-old man in his Luzerne County home.

Police say Peter Lach was found beaten, robbed and restrained in his Edwardsville home on Oct. 24, 2005. He died four days later.

State police announced Tuesday that a 37-year-old Exeter man and two 18-year-old women from Exeter and Pittston are charged with criminal homicide and other offenses. Police say more arrests are forthcoming.

Edwardsville Police Chief Michael Slusark told reporters in 2005 that Lach had told investigators he was attacked by two women and a man. Police said Tuesday night that a news conference would be held Wednesday.
